Learning how to taste wines is a pleasurable and rewarding voyage that will deepen your appreciation for both wines and winemakers alike. Learn to look, smell and taste wine – by starting with your basic senses and expanding from there.
Appreciate the herby scent of Touriga Nacional, the fresh, bright fruit of Trincadeira, the aromatic minerality of Alvarinho, the steely crispness of Arinto.
Portugal is a wine country. It is a fact, that this country has all the conditions favourable to viticulture. Contrasts exist between regions; there are innumerable microclimates and all types of terrain suitable for vines which allows for a great variety of interesting and award winning wines. Added to this, Portugal has a people steeped in the tradition of growing and handling vines that dates back centuries.
Visit our hidden wine bar and indulge yourself in fantastic wines and local small dishes. Not only do we want you to enjoy the wines, we also want you to challenge yourself and learn from a man, that’s passion in life is Portuguese wines. Your host will serve, explain and discuss wines of high quality. Ports, reds and whites will all be served. Accompanying these great wines will be small dishes that bring out the best in them.

WHO CAN JOIN US

Suitable for everyone that is passionate about wine and food. No knowledge of wine or wine tasting is needed. A good level of curiosity and a well functioning mouth are highly recommended.

MORE INFORMATION

During the tasting, you will be offered 5 different wines to taste. Ranging from the famous Vinho Verde (Green wine) to the English invented Porto Wine.  Also included are top class small dishes, so called Petiscos, the Portuguese cousin of Spanish Tapas.

Possibility to buy and bring back home interesting and unique good wines.
